These terms are written to be understandable for customers and visitors. Please have a qualified legal professional review them before production launch.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the PlayBid website, creating an account, using the PlayBid web app, or participating in a tournament auction, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you are using PlayBid on behalf of a tournament, club, organization, company, or team, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that entity.
2. What PlayBid provides
PlayBid provides software tools for cricket tournament organizers to manage tournaments, teams, players, live auction bidding, public viewer pages, reports, subscription requests, and manual UPI payment verification.
PlayBid is a software platform. We do not organize your tournament, select players, guarantee team participation, collect gateway payments, or act as a sports governing body.
3. Accounts and roles
Users may access different features depending on their role, such as Super Admin, Tournament Organizer, Auction Manager, Team Owner, or Viewer.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, using accurate information, and ensuring only authorized people access your tournament workspace.
4. Organizer responsibilities
Tournament organizers are responsible for tournament rules, player eligibility, team approvals, auction settings, public page content, uploaded logos/photos, subscription payments, and communication with participants.
Organizers must ensure they have permission to upload player names, photos, stats, videos, team details, sponsor logos, or any other tournament content.
5. Live auction usage
PlayBid helps record and display bids in real time. Organizers and auction managers are responsible for confirming auction rules, bid increments, sold/unsold decisions, retained players, purse deductions, and final squad accuracy.
Network issues, device issues, browser restrictions, or incorrect user actions may affect live auction flow. Organizers should verify critical auction actions before finalizing results.
6. Manual UPI payments
PlayBid may support manual UPI payment submission where an organizer uploads a screenshot and UTR or transaction reference for admin review.
Access to paid features is activated only after successful admin verification. Submitting incorrect, duplicate, fake, or unclear payment information may delay or reject activation.
8. Prohibited use
You must not use PlayBid for illegal activity, fraud, unauthorized access, harassment, harmful uploads, misleading payments, intellectual property violations, security testing without permission, or activities that disrupt the service.
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account or workspace is being misused or creates risk for users, data, systems, or the PlayBid platform.
9. Intellectual property
PlayBid software, design, branding, workflows, and platform content belong to PlayBid or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the platform.
You retain responsibility for content you upload, such as tournament logos, team logos, player photos, documents, and rules. By uploading content, you allow PlayBid to host and display it for operating the service.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep PlayBid reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, updates, server issues, internet problems, or third-party service issues may affect access.
We may improve, change, add, or remove features over time. We may also update these terms when needed, and the latest version will be available on this page.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PlayBid is not responsible for indirect losses, tournament disputes, incorrect auction decisions, participant disagreements, missed bids due to connectivity, lost profits, or damages caused by misuse of the platform.
Organizers should keep their own backup records for important auction decisions, payment confirmations, and final team rosters.
