This policy is written in simple language for users. It should be reviewed by your legal advisor before production launch, especially if your business has specific compliance, tax, data protection, or international user requirements.
1. Information we collect
When you use PlayBid, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, role, organization or tournament details, Google sign-in profile details, and account activity needed to operate the platform.
Tournament organizers may upload tournament logos, banners, player details, player photos, team logos, rules, schedules, player categories, and auction data.
For manual UPI payments, we may collect payment amount, UTR or transaction reference number, payment screenshot, selected subscription plan, review status, and admin approval remarks.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to create accounts, authenticate users, manage tournaments, run live auctions, process manual subscription requests, show public tournament pages, generate reports, and provide support.
We also use platform activity to protect accounts, prevent misuse, debug issues, improve performance, maintain audit logs, and send important service notifications.
3. Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, PlayBid may receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile identifier. We use this only to create or access your PlayBid account and apply the correct role permissions.
You can manage Google account access from your Google account security settings.
4. Public tournament pages
Some tournament information may be visible to anyone with a public tournament link. This can include tournament name, logo, rules, schedule, teams, approved players, live auction status, sold player list, squads, and remaining purse details.
Organizers should avoid uploading sensitive personal information to public tournament areas unless they have permission to share it.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with authorized users inside your tournament, service providers who help operate the platform, legal authorities where required, or administrators reviewing payment and security activity.
Team owners, auction managers, organizers, viewers, and super admins may see different information depending on their role and access permissions.
6. Data storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards such as authentication, role-based access, HTTPS in production, audit logs, and controlled admin review flows.
No online system is completely risk-free, so we recommend using strong passwords, limiting admin access, and keeping payment screenshots and player information accurate and necessary.
7. Data retention
We keep account, tournament, auction, payment, subscription, audit, and report data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational needs, resolve disputes, maintain records, and comply with applicable requirements.
Organizers may request deletion or correction of eligible information, subject to operational, legal, accounting, and security requirements.
8. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, update, or deletion of your personal information where applicable. You may also ask questions about how your information is used.
If your data belongs to a tournament workspace managed by an organizer, we may route some requests to that organizer because they control the tournament content.
10. Contact us
For privacy questions, data requests, or support, contact us at support@playbid.in.
Please include your name, registered email, organization or tournament name, and a clear description of your request so we can respond faster.
